Yes, I've totally flaked on the whole Project 365 thing. I still think it's a good idea - and gave me an excuse to buy a new point-and-shoot camera if nothing else (hated carrying the Rebel every.where). And who knows, maybe I'll do it in 2010. I documented the one thing I really wanted to get in 2009. These days I do good to break out the camera!

July 15 - Harrison loves to clomp around the house in my Chinese Laundry sandals. I think he likes the sound they make on the kitchen floor. We built the Bunny House this evening. It's like a gingerbread house kit, only it's made of sugar cookies and most of the candies are pastel colors. The girls had so much fun doing this!

A dear friend from elementary and high school (we went to separate junior high schools) was in town for her girls' Spring Break. A small group of us met at Cajun's to visit with Tricia (in purple). We had such a good visit and it was great to see her again. She's not been home since our 10-year reunion.

Today was Pajama Day with Nin's preschool class.  Brad wasn't able to go last year when Nin was in three-year-old preschool and he didn't get to go to Dad's Day this year, either.  So, he went to Pajama Day.  And yes, he wore his PJ pants and a t-shirt just like the kids.

Brad had to go into Harrison's room to get something - he called me in to see him.  Legs through the slats, foot on the wall. No wonder we hear him kicking the wall during the night! March 14, 2009 - Annie and I went to Build-a-Bear Workshop today. February 27, 2009 - My forsythia is blooming!!!!!  This particular plant has been in my family for several generations.  My great-aunt rooted several cuttings for each of us (my dad, my sister, me and my brother) from her forsythia. February 5, 2009 - Because of his extremely dry skin, Harrison doesn't get many tub baths.  I usually wash what needs to be washed (face, hands, feet, bottom) each night - but no full baths.  Tonight, he got a tub bath - which he *loves*.  Poor little guy howls when we get him out of the tub.

29/365 - January 29, 2009 - Harrison, Elizabeth and Harrison's Pillow.  The girls each have their "lovies" - Elizabeth's are BehBear and Blankie, Nin's are her Taggies, Annie's is her Mimi.  Harrison's lovie is his pillow.  Thankfully I have two - and I rotate them weekly (for washing and for wear purposes)

January 26, 2009 - I'm working on the birthday invitations to Harrison's first birthday party.  It will be a frog theme.  Frog, lily pad and cat tails by Jacque Larson from The Lily Pad (the-lilypad.com).  Green paper is "canteen" and brown is "espresso" both from Bazzill.  Font is Zipty Do.

January 25, 2009 - Annie and her Mimi (not to be confused with MiMi).  Shortly after spending some time at my sister's house one day, Annie started calling this blanket "mimi" - and it is the one she wants when she needs comfort or security.  The girls call my sister MiMi since Elizabeth had trouble saying "Aunt Sammie".

January 24, 2009 - Elizabeth had her "Special Day with Bippie" today. They went to Build-a-Bear Workshop where Elizabeth got a Hannah Montana bear.  They had a wonderful day together - doing special things, including lunch at The Purple Cow.  Hannah Montana bear, two HM outfits, a microphone, blonde wig, silver shoes, and HM guitar for the bear. January 23, 2009  Nin had a very long nap, very late this afternoon.  While I ironed...for three hours (yes, really, even after all the ironing I did two days ago), she put puzzles together and talked to me.  Love this sweet girl.

Our new reality. One of the girls was diagnosed as allergic to peanuts today.  Because peanut allergies can go from "moderate" (her rating) to "anaphylactic" in the matter of a single bite - they prescribed an EpiPen for her.  Our conversation went: Me: Why are you crying? I didn't use clipping masks in these pages (wanted to get the pages done) - but otherwise everything that applies to the layout for Jan4-10 applies to this one as well. And if you click on these, they'll open in a larger version. On all of these pages, I'm using the journaling on my blog to do the journaling on the layout.

On all pages I've used papers and the month name from Crystal Wilkerson's kit "The 365 Challenge - January Kit" that is available at 2Peas in a Bucket. For the dates on the photos, I used Misty Cato's brushes "Date Bits #3" (she gave them away on her blog last year). The font is Zipty Do by Adobe.This is the LO for the first week. I couldn't decide which photo to use for today - Harrison is 11 months old!  30 days until his first birthday...time has flown and I absolutely adore this sweet Baby Guy! As you can see, he was really cooperating with me (ha!) here. January 13 - It's Girl Scout Cookie time!  This is the first year that Daisy Scouts have been allowed to sell cookies.  Elizabeth's troop wants each girl to sell 175 boxes.  As of today, we're at 250 boxes (yay!!)  Elizabeth really wants to sell 400 boxes to get the stuffed elephant prize.

January 12 - It was a sunny day and when we loaded in the van to go pick-up Nin at preschool, Elizabeth and Harrison were both wearing their sunglasses.  Annie also had on her sunglasses (all three pairs at once, as a matter of fact) but she wouldn't get in the picture.

January 11 - Harrison was having a really rough night. He's cutting teeth and he has a cold. He was still awake at 11:30p.m., which is very unusual for him. He nursed a lot and played with the GlowWorm he got for Christmas.

January 10 - We finally got to take our Christmas tree down and that meant moving the entertainment center back into place. Our big Sony TV is incredibly heavy. Brad decided to set it on a TV tray table while he moved the TV stand portion of the entertainment center. It wasn't sturdy enough to hold the TV. It and the TV went crashing to the ground. January 9: Elizabeth had the Girl Scout Cookie Rally on Friday night. We went to the university where the Girl Scout Council had taken over the student union and fieldhouse. We had crafts throughout the student union and inflatables in the fieldhouse. She had a great time and climbed an inflatable rock wall all the way to the top!
